We usually cite Evert & Hardie (2011) for CWB/CQP:
Evert, Stefan and Hardie, Andrew (2011). Twenty-first century corpus workbench: Updating a query ar- chitecture for the new millennium. In Proceedings of the Corpus Linguistics 2011 Conference, Birmingham, UK.
and Hardie (2012) for CQPweb:
Hardie, Andrew (2012). CQPweb – combining power, flexibility and usability in a corpus analysis tool. International Journal of Corpus Linguistics, 17(3), 380–409.
The original reference for CWB is Christ (1994):
Christ, Oliver (1994). A modular and flexible architecture for an integrated corpus query system. In Papers in Computational Lexicography (COMPLEX ’94), pages 22–32, Budapest, Hungary.
which you may cite additionally for historical correctness and attribution if there is space. However, CWB has changed so much since then that the Evert & Hardie (2011) reference is more appropriate.
Best,
Stefan
