[CWB] Adding many classification descriptions in CQPweb for a particular category

Hi josé,

In version 3.3 there are “catdesc templates” whwere you can create prespecified collections of handle—description pairs, which you can then apply to multiple corpora.

In version 3.2 you would have to do it by directly updating the MySQL, as you suspect. The table in question is `text_metadata_values` ; the field is `description`.

Hi there,

Is there a way to add many category descriptions for a particular classification to a corpus in CQPweb?

I know that one can edit one by one the descriptions, but for some corpora I have too many categories for a classification. If there's no workaround, I can run a query to update the MySQL table containing this information or have some kind of script to do the task. I'd just need the pointer to the table.
