[CWB] Accessibility support in the CQPweb

I have recently added to v3.2 a set of patches suggested by a user to bring the outward-facing (i.e. pre-login) pages of CQPweb into alignment with basic accessibility requirements. The patches will be ported to 3.3 soonish.
I'd also draw attention to the ability to force the UI into monochrome mode (user settings) which is for the sake of users with limited vision.
Another important thing in accessibility is for pages to be arranged so as to work well with screen readers. I've been making changes over the last few years to help on this front (e.g. by adding HTML5 semantic tags such as <nav>). However, to the best of my knowledge, it is not really possible to get screen readers to do something sensible with content in a data table ... which means most of CQPweb! So there's a limit on what can be done on this front.
Beyond the above, I am open to suggestions. I should stress that I'm far from an expert on accessibility.
If anyone spots any specific UI chunks that have specific fixable accessibility issues, feel free to email the list, add it to the bug tracker, or submit a patch.
best
Andrew.

Subject: [CWB] Accessibility support in the CQPweb
Hi!
Nowadays it is important to use software that supports accessibility related features. I am not a specialist in this sphere, so I wanted to clarify if CQPweb supports those requirements, and in which level, plans...
I see that many web-sites also have a separate page called something like "Accessibility statement" where all additional information is provided. In the CQPweb portal I couldn't find such a thing, unfortunately.
Maybe you know any CQPweb clones that are designed from that point of view?
