Dear all,
I get a segmentation fault error when trying to set up a metadata table from XML:
[cid:image003.jpg at 01D6EA14.DBEFCE20]
Workflow:
1. Install a pre-indexed corpus (I have made this one available to you off-list, Andrew)
2. Install metadata from XML (auto-select and leave frequency lists off)
3. Error appears (as above; this is with all debugging views switched on).
Notes:
1. Error message in the server log:
[Thu Jan 14 00:02:01.285349 2021] [php7:notice] [pid 3211514] [client 155.54.239.27:47656] PHP Notice: fwrite(): write of 5 bytes failed with errno=32 Broken pipe in /var/www/html/CQPweb/lib/cqp.php on line 499, referer: http://MYSERVER/CQPweb/youtube_pilorama/index.php?ui=manageMetadata&createMetadataFromXml=1
1. OS is Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, tried both on Windows (WSL) and an actual server
2. Revision is 1571 (current as of today) - I have a credible report that it worked in Revision 1568, but I cannot exclude that there is a difference in the order of steps and/or the configuration.
3. CQP is 3.4.27
4. The corpus can be queried in CQP on the command line
5. Output of the CQP diagnostics is fine (pasted below)
I'd be grateful for any pointers.
Thanks and best wishes,
Peter
Beginning diagnostics on CQP child process connection.
Using following configuration variables:
$path_to_cqp = ``/usr/local/cwb-3.4.27/bin/''
$cwb_registry = ``/data/cqpweb/registry''
Checking that directory /usr/local/cwb-3.4.27/bin/ exists... yes it does!
Checking that CQP program exists... yes it does!
Checking that CQP program is readable by the user... yes it is!
Checking that CQP program is executable by this user... yes it is!
Checking that /data/cqpweb/registry exists... yes it does!
Checking that CWB registry is readable by this user... yes it is!
Now running process-open to get a link to CQP ... ... complete.
Checking that the process we've set up to link to slave cqp has the datatypes it ought to... yes it has!
Checking that the process's status has the correct values... yes it has!
Checking that we've got the right pipes into and out of the CQP process... all looking good!
Checking that it's possible to read lines of cqp output... yes it is!
Checking that this version of CQP is up-to-date enough (need 3.4.26 or higher)... yes, CQP version 3.4.27 is high enough!
Checking that it's possible to write commands to lines of cqp output... successfully sent 13 bytes to CQP, and got back 2 lines of output!
The connection to the CQP child process was successful.
Attempting to shut down test process...
Process shutdown was successful.
CQP connection diagnostic complete.
