[CWB] Custom metadata structure ends in "No input file specified for metadata installation!"

"don't use a template, I'll specify the columns in the form below" was my explanatory paraphrase of "Custom metadata structure" (and the accompanying explanation in the adjacent area of the interface). Apologies if it confused rather than clarifying.

Mmm, I don't have that option "don't use a template, I'll specify the columns in the form below"  in my interface, just "Custom metadata structure" .... I've clicked the button several times, but no other option...

Because a custom structure is the alternative to using a template.

IE You can EITHER use a template, OR fill in the form that describes the metadata fields.

So the template dropdown menu lists all available templates plus an option for "don't use a template, I'll specify the columns in the form below"

That's because you've not specified an input file.

You've got 5 possible input files (bnc.meta etc) but none of them has been clicked on.

The metadata structure describes the fields in your input data. Specifying it does not actually provide any input data.  You still need the file.

I'm selecting "Custom metadata structure" as instructed in "Choose template for text metadata structure (or select "Custom metadata structure" and specify annotations in the boxes below)"
