Hi Jonas,

I think the issue is simply that the version of CQPweb on the InABox predates the existence of that function. It’s very old. I have little to no time to keep it updated.

Not that you need it – when you’re running CQPweb on a computer you control, you can just put the files straight into the upload folder. (which, if memory serves, is something like /var/cqpweb/upload).

best

Andrew.

Dear Dr. Hardie,
dear CWB list members,

my Name is Jonas Brosig and I’m a PhD candidate in Histories at Mannheim University (Germany). Lately, I’m trying to bring my work to the next level using CWB/CQPWebInABox (thanks to everyone who contributed developing the great tools CWB/CQPWebinABox!). I’m almost all set, having installed the Virtual Machine and the Package itself; As far as I can see, the program runs properly, except for the fact that I’m not able to import my own corpora:

When I click on “Manage Files” or any other option of the section “Your files and corpora”, I get the notification “We are sorry, but that is not a valid menu option” (Screenshot attached). Since I couldn’t find help in the Youtube-Tutorials, I was hoping that maybe someone on this list knows a solution for this?

Kind regards
Jonas Brosig
