[CWB] No registry file when encoding

Unless my eyes deceive me, you have a problem here:

cwb-encode -d ./cove/thesis/rcc/ -c utf8 -f ./rcc.vrt /cove/registry/rcc/ -xsB -P pos -P lemma

I assume the underlined bit is meant to be the location of the registry file, but

  1. it isn't preceded by -R
  2. it's under the directory /cove (in your system root) but earlier in the command you referred to ./cove - I guess one of these is likely be wrong.
  3. it ends in a slash

best

Andrew.

Subject: [CWB] No registry file when encoding

Hiya

Cwb-encode doesn't appear to create a registry file when I run: cwb-encode -d ./cove/thesis/rcc/ -c utf8 -f ./rcc.vrt /cove/registry/rcc/ -xsB -P pos -P lemma

As a result, I get the following error message when running `cwb-makeall -r cove/registry -V RCC`: Corpus RCC not found in registry cove/registry . Aborted.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm using CQP v 3.5.

Best
Elif
