[CWB] Upgrading from.. ehem... Ubuntu Server LTS 18.04

Hi Timm,

First of all, many thanks for your response. I tried this a year or so ago,
so I don't remember all that many details (it still works to this day, so I
left it alone).

I do remember crashes due to incompatible PHP versions. Not sure if that
happened with R or anything else, but definitely PHP.

CQPwebOutsideTheBox looks interesting, but I rent a bare-metal server and
this seems to be a VM image. I know there are ways of "devirtualizing", but
I don't know if my provider supports them.

So it looks like I'm going to have to either do multiple updates of Ubuntu
(four, in fact) or reinstall 26.04 LTS.

In either case, how can I make sure my CQP data survives, as well as its
config files? Is there even a definitive list of config files used by
CQP/CWB?

An ancient trick I learned a long time ago was to set the immutable bit on
files so that not even root can modify or delete them (sudo chattr +i) and
I could use this anywhere needed... if I knew where it's needed.

Thing is, I set my server up so long ago that my CQPweb/CWB skills are
worse than rusty.
