there is no knowing what someone is going to search for – so they have to actually search for what they want i.e. via the subcorpus interface and then once they’ve found a selection of texts, the subcorpus becomes available for restricting queries.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

any possibility to restrict queries on the basis of those free text metadata on this restricted query interface. I have seen I can create subcorpora, but that seems can be a bit clumsy/confusing for the users (foreign language teachers) I have in mind.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
